Ranked shortlists
Each list here ranks providers by how much they actually publish about themselves — the legal entity behind the brand, the NCR registration number, the amount range and the term range. A provider you can verify ranks above one you cannot, because a brand name and a phone number are not something you can check.

What "best" means on these pages, and what it cannot mean
It cannot mean cheapest for you. Nobody can rank that from outside: the rate you are offered depends on an affordability assessment run against your own income and obligations, and the same lender can be the cheapest option for one borrower and unavailable to the next.
What can be ranked from outside is disclosure. Whether a provider names the legal entity that will hold the agreement, whether it publishes its registration number, whether it states its amount and term ranges rather than hinting at them — that is verifiable, it is the same test for every provider, and it correlates with how a company behaves after you sign.
